I believe (I do believe) the mouse I mentioned earlier has escaped Alfie's clutches. I saw it only once and that was weeks ago. I like to think the little critter found its way into "Adventures in Cheese," a shop not far from here...a magical land (one would hope) without cats or mousetraps.

Your mouse has done better than the ones we've had over the summer. Lucky mouse.
I'm picturing the mouse in Adventures in Cheese, lying back exhausted, replete, bulging stomach, overwhelmed with the cheese mountains still taunting and tempting him.
The only mouse around here now is my red glow-in-the-dark computer mouse.
