Last night at the Willow, a tex-mex restaurant on the Danforth, I sat around most merrily with a group of people, among whom were my old friends Gerry and Dan. These guys are musicians and songwriters, and I thought it would be a good idea to post links to their sites.

There sure are a lot of good Canadian musicians.
Yes indeed. I do hope some of my friends here take a listen to the free downloads. The music can't be pigeonholed...their songs are rooted in the past and then pulled up by the roots and replanted. And they take chances...the musical experiments...
Ah, it was fun last night...
I'm at work, so I don't dare open a musician's site (the library is verrrry quiet). But I'm sure they're very good. And I'm glad you had such a good time. Everyone should have musician friends.
Gerry and Dan: if you're lurking, please if you have a quiet snowy weekend afternoon, check out my friend sewa's (Craig's) music blog. It's not an ongoing thing. It was a project with a beginning and an end, and it's stunning and beautiful and fun. You won't regret it. Here's the link:

Hey Wayne, and pals of Wayne.
Thanks for stopping by. Wayne should have mentioned that he and I co-wrote the surreal lyrics to Ophelia Watersport, featured on my disc. It's not on my page right now, but I may post it again.
By my song plays today, it looks like some of you did stop by to listen. If any pals of wayne want to buy my CD and the lovely hand-made lino-print covers it comes in, I'll toss in a Wayne-Special- just $5.00- that's RIGHT- FIVE BUCKS!!! plus postage.
cheers to all,
ger
No, Gerry hasn't outed me since lots of my blogger friends know my real name and I know theirs. $5.00? That's cheap! A Wayne-Special. I like that idea.
Maybe Dan will drop by, too.
I wouldn't have guessed that in a thousand million years. I am so glad you resisted the impulse to call your blog 'Fountains of Wayne'
The rapper Lil Wayne has given me street cred.
So when you mentioned Wayne County all that time ago it was a hint.......or is that you?
